Thanks Morticia - I've learned what I can't keep in the house, even way down in the garage freezer until I reach maintenance. I'm okay until I open the container. The drumsticks were there for about a week, once I opened the box I ate all of them within 3 days. The cookies may be my best choice. I could get by with just one, possibly 2. But they are really big cookies!

It happens. I hope you relished them enough while eating them to make up at least a little bit for the slight setback. I have my kryptonite foods, too -- mainly pretzels. I don't dare bring them into the house! While I'm an advocate for treats in moderation, I think most of us have foods we struggle to limit

Over time I have replaced higher calorie favorites with some I enjoy just as much that don't break the bank. My current fav are Luigi's Italian Ice's. They come in a variety of fruit flavors & are smooth & creamy. Calorie count is 100 calories to 140. I eat it slowly & savor each bite 😋

Thanks Writing - I remember reading before that you have a hard time resisting pretzels. That's one snack that I don't really care about. I have had Chex party mix before and pick out the pretzels for Bobby! Thanks Sherrye - I have to keep remembering that I really need to get to maintenance before trying to keep snacks of any kind in the house. At that time I figure out what I'm okay to eat in moderation.

It's hard but try and control your Nafs.. meaning "self,psyche,ego/soul don't fall to the wants of our human wants it's hard I struggle a-lot because rite now I want some nacho Doritos 😁we gotta fight temptation in this weight loss game
