3 more down. I feel way better now, hands don't have that tight water retention feeling. Ankles not swollen, all good things!!
I had several comments on my last journal. And I really appreciate all the support and advice! :) I was in the process of responding to them, but decided to just write a new journal to kinda respond to everyone.
Potassium and Magnesium intake. Magnesium I take a supplement for, and Potassium I could probably add more foods that are rich in them to my diet. I did have some potatoes the last few days and the salad mix I've had the pass week has spinach in it as well. I could probably start adding broccoli to my typical salad too, but I'm not nearly as fond of it as I am of tomatoes and cucumbers.
Fluid retention is hard to get rid of after the first 10lbs of it. Yes it is. I went from 411 to 427 in 4 days eating salty food at my mom's. In 2 days of being home I went from 427 to 416. Then another 2 days to go from 416 to 413. My water intake is usually between 80-110oz a day, and I take hydrochlorothiazide for my bp, which also works as a diuretic. I upped my exercise the last couple days too, which I'm proud of, The sweating helps get the salt out. Also pool maintenance in 90 degree weather makes you sweat as well.
Anywho, I wasn't smiling in the photos because I tried to take them similarly to the original photo. Easier for me to see the differences then. ^_^
Moving on! Lunch today will be leftovers from previous days, dinner tonight will be peppered beef strips and rice since hubs requested it. Besides that, just household chores and mentally preparing myself for my baby to start kindergarten.
Happy Sunday everyone!
