I'm still losing weight despite Creatine loading. Body fat: 30.8. The AARP BMI calculator says the ideal body fat for men is between 13 and 17. Men's Health says I should increase my protein intake if I don't want to lose muscle mass along with fat. I've skimmed "The Alternate Day Diet" but I read the entire book for inspiration yesterday. I'm particularly psyched about the benefit of lowering inflammation.

Lowering inflammation is good, mine has gone down considerably as long as I stick to my plan, flares up some when I eat processed meats . Your tip might be good for some. I can do breakfast the same, other than that I couldn't do it. I like to play with food too much. Grins....

wholefoodnut, how are you tracking inflammation? I don't eat much processed meat, except for bistro meals at Kroger. I think I could stick to five recipes. The trick would be deciding which five recipes...

Just the way I feel, nothing scientific. I have arthritis in my knees, ankles, and hands. Per doc, I should be taking nsaids daily to tame the inflammation and the pain, I don't like taking them all the time. If I eat the wrong foods my joints swell and hurt. My ankles will look huge, like they are sprained without the black and blue. If I eat right and exercise the pain and swelling subsides, I have more range of motion, and no meds.
