Minor setback today, but I'm going to look at it as a positive thing. I've only been at this for a week, and I've been working on finding my calorie balance. So now I know that my MAX calorie intake is between 1200 & 1300. Yesterday I consumed !400-1500 and gained 2 pounds. Out of the 3 I had just lost over the 2 days before. Disappointing but not a failure. Now I know my limits, which is fine, because 1200-1300 is more attainable for me right now.

yes I just realized that 1300 is my limit as well. I do now and again had a 1400-1500 day but ya know what.. you can average it out. have 2 1100 days and balance it. I watch my monthly average more than the day to day. as long as the monthly is between 11-1200 I know I wont gain... it allows you to splurge and still get it back. if one enjoyable day is worth taking it easy on Monday and Tuesday then do it! you just have to balance it after and truly it is ok to go up here there. You're doing great!

Have a look at the 5:2 diet - that is an easy way to manage a calorie deficit.
