My weight is back up, probably because yesterday I went to Kroger and had a bistro meal. When I got back, I didn't have the energy to do Pilates because I was ironed out from trekking around Kroger and biking in 93 degrees and humidity. I just lay around and read and listened to podcasts. I drank an entire carton of Goodbelly, which made sense, because I was dehydrated from the bike ride, and an entire pepperoni loaf with cheese and peppers, which didn't make sense because I wasn't hungry. I was already full from the Goodbelly. It was recreational/mindless eating.

A setback in Operation Keep Cool while exercising: Kroger was out of the blue ice packs I wanted. I guess I will make them myself. I ordered some blue food coloring to remind myself not to drink those bottles because I'm going to add rock salt to make them stay frozen longer. The Acer Chromebook arrived and I'm going to use that instead of the Dell. The Dell will stay turned off until I need a space heater in the fall.

I did start the second month of my three-month dumbbell program. My triceps are sore today which I feel is a good sign. I decided to go for a six-pack, not because I'm vain, but partly because that's the positive side of getting rid of my spare tire for health reasons, partly to see if I can do it, partly because once I got on this train, I might as well ride to the end of the line
