First day of the perfect week was pretty perfect. I wish the scale would tell me it was perbut like last week, maybe I will wake up with a 1.5 pound drop so it's not so bad.

As you may know, my goal this week is to absolutely be in the 210's and it will happen. WHAT IS YOUR SHORT TERM GOAL? And please, we've become a really tight group so if you have some other goals (other than weight loss), please share them. You'd be surprised how many people would be supportive.

Finally, My blood pressure 129 over 66. Last August. 161 over 81. It's amazing how eating healthy, getting some exercise, living a little less stressful life and being happier overall will do for one's health. Have you noticed the difference in this vital statistic?

Great job on the blood pressure. Mine used to be borderline-high (about 140/80, I think). The last time it was checked it was 110/60 - my best from when I was a teenager. I was so happy to see that number. Good job on the loss so far this week. And good luck with your goal this week. You can do it!

Thanks ChristyLA and beefree4ever. That's a great thing Christy. When you get the worries about hypertension out of the way it seems like we feel better mentally as well. I don't know if I can be beef free forever but have really cut down on it. Love that ribeye every few months.

You will be in the 210s, you are doing awesome! That is a great blood pressure reading, much feel great you know you are doing this right!!! My next goal number is 145, that will put me 10lbs from a healthy weight and over the halfway point in my weight loss journey. Keep it up madanjen =)

The watched pot never boils. Of course that's not a true statement but it does seem to take longer. You are doing wonderful. Keep consistent and patient and you will get to the 210's soon. My mini goal is to get to 135lbs. by August and then reset to a new goal weight of 125lbs. 2nd short term goal is to get and enjoy life a bit. Maybe that should be first. :)
