No drinking during lent cuts several hundred calories per day.
There are meals where sensible eating is easy. A bowl of oatmeal or a yogurt for breakfast are obvious choices. Lunch is tougher but a sandwich or salad in the office can hold me to 300 to 400 calories.
Dinner is a challenge. I've found that if I just put the same amount of food on my plate as usual and them remove 1/2 the meat and starch and replace that with salad I have no problem restricting calories and I'm not hungry all the time.
The lack of calories, however, has left me fatigued and exercise this week has been a struggle.
