So happy - not just with the loss, but also that I have been 100% on Atkins for 8 days. I had great success with it 10 years ago, but I haven't been able to get and stay on it the last 5 years. (Never made it more than 3 days.) I do feel like if I can power through the next week, I'll have made the shift and it will be a bit easier after that. And it hasn't been too bad thus far.
I'm also making it a point to tell people that I'm doing this. I'm normally quite secretive about my dieting, but everything I've read suggests that telling your friends actually helps you stick with it. So I'm trying that.
It's been good to check in and hear other people's stories. Nice to have a community. Best of luck to everyone this week.
