wooah 4695 kcals burnt :D how's that even possible. I have never spent more than ~3200

1.) I'm heavy (more calories to burn) 2.) I track EVERYTHING I do for the day. 3.) I aim for a deficit of 3500 calories per day. So if I burn 4695, I'll only eat 1195 of those calories back, that way I can "technically" have 1 pound lost per day.

Oh, I see... One question. I use the "resting" activity when I am not doing anything that requires much physical work, like when I'm smoking or standing or watching TV. Is it right in your opinion? I mean what does resting mean?

I believe the resting is correct, but don't use it for things like watching tv, in it's place you would put "sitting", unless you were laying down, then you would put resting. Do you kind of see what I mean? I believe the calorie counts on here are very spot on. Resting just means you are in a relaxed laying down type of position. You're not really doing anything, you could be watching TV, reading, listening to music, or thinking, however you are doing something, laying down, and are awake/aware. If your standing, input "standing" into the calorie count! You would be soooo surprised how many calories you burn just standing around for a few hours! I try to get the most accurate calorie count I can. So I input everything from standing, sitting, resting, housework, sleeping, as well as all other "actual" exercises that I do. You'd be surprised to see how much you actually burn per day.

I never lay down during the daytime, only at night when I go to bed. The rest of the time I'm doing stuff like cooking, hanging out with friends, watching TV, Facebooking, Playing with my dog, etc. etc.

Oh I see, then you definitely want to log that in to your journal! Fatsecret gives an option to input how long you took "standing", or "walking", or "sitting". Give a close estimate for everything, and watch the clock while doing activities. It'll give you a higher calorie burn, and you'll notice you can burn 500+ calories extra per day, just doing what you normally do.
