I don't feel very good so I am thankful I lost weight instead of gained over the past two days. I even had a moment of temptation two nights ago with my favorite food of all time... pizza from a great local restaurant in my college town... I am glad I ate it because I knew I would have been thinking about it for days and weeks until I could smell it again. I had less than one slice of a 9" pizza, so I estimated I got basically half a slice of a 12" pizza which is pretty good for having given in to temptation! And the truth is, all it did was make me feel sick!
So yesterday I decided to drink extra water, stick to my diet, take a day off from working out and see what happened. It definitely worked--sometimes the best medicine is rest after a long hard week!
