You know how when you start a new lifestyle of eating it seems the scale does crazy things? Since I started eating healthy and exercising on August 22nd, 2019 it has been a roller coaster with my weight changing dramatically overnight. One morning I weighed myself and had gained 3 pounds. I had been walking, doing my Zumba and keeping my calories under 1500. I even bought a new Bluetooth Weight Guru's bathroom scale thinking that gaining 3 lbs was unreasonable for the measures I had been taking. So I decided that it's just part of the process and that starting a new lifestyle was going to present issues I wasn't prepared for. The thing I figured out was that no matter what stay true to myself, and as long as I was working my plan in honesty the scale would move accordingly. So almost one month into it I have lost 10 lbs. and that is on track for what I am putting into my new lifestyle. I just don't want to forget that in the first month of any lifestyle change you must be kind to yourself and keep working your plan no matter what the number on the scale is at that moment.
