Well, my official weigh in showed that I gained 2 pounds. The dietician told me to give myself a break and that my body would come off the plateau eventually, but it doesn't prevent me from being completely and totally frustrated!!!! This is usually where I would stop dieting in the past because of the frustration, but I'm bound and determined to reach my goal and no longer be over 300 pounds. Today was my last visit with the dietician. She said I could go back and see her anytime and I may after having the surgery to get myself on track with things. I'll have to wait and see how things go first. After today, the dietician will submit my paperwork to the surgeon's office and then the surgeon will submit everything to the insurance company. After the insurance company approves the surgery then I will have one more visit with the surgeon's office for final preparations which includes a weigh-in. The surgeon's office will give me a surgery date once the insurance company approves it. I suspect that I will be scheduled for surgery sometime in March. I see my primary care physician for the last time on January 31.

Well, don't be surprised if the next time I write in my journal that my scale has had an unfortunate mishap. LOL--just kidding.
