After full knee replacement surgery, I lost 20 pounds in rehab. I am aware that this is not the best way to lose weight, but I am happy for the lost nevertheless.
My challenge now will be to keep the weight off as I continue with OT and PT. As a single senior, I eat out a lot, mostly fast food such Domino’s, Subway, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Burger King. These places are a source of excess fat, salt, and empty calories. I need to cut way back on this.
That’s my plan so far. When I am able to go to the gym, I hope I will overcome my previous inertia and will make it there at least three days a week.- August 15, 2018.
