I had so many reasons to quit these last few weeks. Between a back injury, going on vacation, work being insane trying to catch up from those two, the house being a disaster because of those three, and trying to get 3 kids packed for camp, I never imagined I'd be celebrating this kind of loss today.
It's been 3 months since I got serious about my weight, and while I need to be *really* cautious stating something like this, this last week was the first time my new lifestyle felt like "the norm" or a habit that I could let run on autopilot while I put out fires everywhere else. And while I'm really glad that was the case, I'm still going to double down my effort as if I had gained.
I'm not going to get complacent and think I don't need to work as hard logging food and exercising anymore just because I had a few good weeks.
