MMmmm... Tastes like... victory. Trail running seems to be the most efficient use of workout time for me. And it's definitely gotten better. While running, I found myself thinking for the first time in my life, "I'm a runner." So, I went to a park called Rockville Hills to go trail running after work yesterday. Typically, it would take a while to get warmed up. This place is virtually all inclines and declines. And I would normally have to stop running and hike up the inclines. But not yesterday. I was able to run and jog every hill. I've never done that. I had the endurance and muscled through it all. It was effing amazing and a huge accomplishment. But I wonder, did I have all that energy from all those carbs I had on Sunday? I think I'll repeat this again later this week after a normal low-carb day and compare. It'll be interesting to see.
