I would say I followed this 100% but I did eat a small slice of my wedding cake Saturday evening. It was my one year wedding anniversary and I allowed myself to take part in the tradition. Other than that I have been 100% dedicated, exercising regularly and drinking lots of water. Hopefully my fat burning will kick up some speed soon. And no, I will not be "cheating" again. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, or so they say, but I can't remember how good skinny feels!

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. Over the last several years I have attempted weight loss and exercise programs off and on, but this time is different. My approach is different, my attitude is different, and I've already been consistently working towards my goal for 9 months. This is not a temporary fix and I know it, I want to live healthy and do good things for my body. I have lost 25 pounds on my own and now I want to lose another 50-70 with support. I'm following the Atkins diet. It is a diet that makes sense for me and my family history of diabetes. It is a diet that keeps me satiated so I am less likely to fall off the wagon (even during TOM), and I feel full of energy while I'm following a low carb diet. I was recently using a different website to track my food and although I still prefer the other site right now, I find this site is better for tracking my particular diet. I already noticed that I am over on my carbs for the day and the other site didn't track it that way. I hope I can figure out how to use this site and all it has to offer and maybe make some friends along the way :)
