I'm so close to the 160's i can taste it!!! I'm not hugely concerned about losing a ton of weight anymore as my body is changing faster that i can buy clothes for it. Being a member of a gym has definitely paid off :)

I've been bad. I've been away for a LONG LONG time and found another site *GASP!* but all is well! I've discovered that i like to have both! :) A week and a half ago i joined a gym!! Because of this i have been recording all of my exercises with www.dailymile.com and it's a lot of fun! There's nothing there for tracking your weight or intake of calories, but it does show you how many times you have run around the world, how many burgers or donuts you've burned, how much gas you saved based on your mileage, and how many tv's you powered with your energy expended. lol
Anyhow, i've met with a personal trainer and she now has me on a schedule and i do a lot of classes at the gym. The reason for my new schedule and eating? I have entered the Marine Corps Marathon taking place on October 30! I have the Warrior Dash coming up in May as well which i am very excited and i'm thinking about finding a half marathon somewhere in the middle of the spring or summer.
But my experiences lately have finally released the secret of getting myself in good shape and losing weight effectively. I have been taking a variety of classes at the Merritt including body pump, body combat, body flow, zumba, and i'm going to attempt a cycling class as well as a step class. This is all part of the Fit 360 Challenge that i joined at the Merritt. Anyway, all of the muscle confusion has really switched up the calorie burning process in my body!! Since i joined the gym on Feb 26th, i have lost 8 pounds! It's a crazy amount of weight and i don't expect the weight loss to always be so quick, but the muscle definition and energy and change in shape of my figure is enough to keep me going!! Here's hoping i get the stamina to complete the marathon in October!!
