I'm feeling a bit frustrated with my lack of an exercise program. As you may have read, I'm an expat living in Angola Africa at the moment, more specifically, the capital city Luanda. Due to a recent election and just the fact its a third world country, I'm limited to walking and working out in just our compound. Unfortunately we live in one of the smaller compounds that only has a small walking track that isn't paved so the ground is very uneven. Whereas I do walk on the track, it gets boring to walk around a small track day after day.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a home workout that i could do? I don't have any machines. I'm going home to Texas for a short visit in April so I can pick up items and bring them back with me. I was thinking about bringing a jump rope, one of those big balls, and possibly some free weights. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed!

Another thought was exercise videos... does anyone use these anymore?
