I have stalled for the past 21 days!

It is time to CHANGE!

This is what I wrote to my fitness buddy today:


OK, today i had an epiphany.

I was watching a video where both Jillian and Bob said that the stuff about
"I am not losing because I am building muscle"
"I am not losing weight but I am losing inches"
....ARE CRAP!!

They say that we have been fed that by people who are trying to make us feel better about our medicority!

Damn! That kicked me in a butt!

No wonder some people were comfy months up to a year without a single pound lost and even slowly putting on back the weight! We have been given the OK to be complacent and it creates room for failure.

So, having heard that, I started to look back at what I was doing (OR NOT doing) when I was losing weight CONSISTENLY 1.1lb every 2-3 days for an avg of 2.5lbs per week for my first 8 weeks. You know what i found?

I was NOT eating cheese/dairy. Note also that I began stalling with a massive cheese overload with the burger buns and cheeseburgers(3 over two days).

Since then, I have been CRAVING cheeseburgers (bunless) and eating them at least once per week.

-I resumed diet soda with the burgers - I assoc. diet soda with fast food
-I was NOT having Atkins products, though I had my low carb homemade shake with the isopure almost daily.
-I would NOT leave my house without packing my food/snacks because I ate EVERYTHING from home
-I have been leaving the house with nothing but my green tea these days, which drives me to commit the cardinal diet sin #7
-I have been eating more and more Atkins shakes and bars
-I use the shakes as an incentive to go to the gym (to think how ironic since they are negating my wo)
-I have increased my weights and # of wo but my body is holding on to fat, so it is not because of excess calories but because I have toxins that mess up my body
-My body is not in starvation mode. That is another crap. I was eating 1300 cals and losing weight and wo. Furthermore BL contestants have 1200 calorie diets and wo 4-8 hrs daily.

So it seems that even if I add:
Organics
Additional supplements
More workouts
Yoghurt, nuts, berries

I could still cancel out all the goodness if I dont quit the atkins stuff and lay off dairy for a while.

I do want yoghurt, but maybe it is best for me to just cut back on the Atkins stuff and cheeseburgers for a while and see what happens. Or maybe I will still add the yoghurt but make sure it is organic and greek. But anyway, I still think I should be losing before I start adding things back or else I am play a very dangerous game. Not losing means something is wrong with what I am doing now and I need to clean house instead of going shopping for new stuff to bring home to add to the clutter.

Maybe I will be able to have those things later on, but clearly, my body is still sensitive to the Atkins stuff. BTW, some of the ingredients are not even on the accceptable foods list. I also find that the more I eat them, the more I want to justify being able to eat them but with no weight loss since I have added them and cheese, I have to just phase them out.

This week starting tomorrow...

I am going back to bacon and eggs for breakfast (everyday) or eggs +something else
Tuna/fish once per day
Chicken for the other meal (if not seafood)
Snack should be hard boiled egg (or nuts for next week)
No diet soda, sucralose, aspartame, artificial sweetener
No dairy
No berries
Measure food
Record food in fatsecret
Then we will go over the progress at the end of the week. Hopefully I will then re-add the berries, nuts and start on the yoghurt. I will also begin additional supplementation then too for second week.
