A1c at Rexall Pharmacy 6.0 (At first I thought this was high but today I recalled I went on that huge sugar binge in November. I think I ate 6 or more bags of toffee then in Dec I had some chocolate Lindt balls and a couple of Snickers as wel as staff xmas dinner, some carrot cake..hmm I'm actually surrised it was not higher. It will come down a lot now)
5 hr post prandial from BF this AM
3.20 pm
BG 5.2 = 94
pre meal
BK .7
1 hr post prandial
5 pm BG ( 23g P 8.5g C)see dinner meal
5.6 = 101
2 hr 5.50 pm pp 5.9 = 106
did have small piece of coconut bark at 5.30 (coconut oil, cream and cocoa estimate 3g carbs)
do again after eating turkey sausage and cheese at 6.15 23g P .5 carbs
7.10 pm BG 5.6

9.10 pm BG 5.4, BK .4
not surprised the BK is lower than earlier with the BG a bit higher than my 3.20 PM test. looking to see if my BG has to drop to certain level for BK to increase but if insulin is not secreted ketosis should progress.
perhaps I will do an am test which will be 13 + hrs since my last meal. this is th aprt that is often most difficult for me.
testing to see if there is a cumulative effect or is the 2 hr pp increase due to protein?
Note:
I did take gymnema today and 2 x yesterday.

trying to keep track of when/what I eat so that I can time a ketone test.
just had a MIM at 3.00 pm will try and get my last protein in by 5 pm and test around 8-9 pm if I feel I want to today..other wise I will wait until tomorrow evening.
6.30 had some of my MIM chocolate
7 pm had a couple pieces CO fat bomb..little carbs in either one.

ok after a couple of days I feel I could possibly get into ketosis again in the next day or so. all the xmas extra carb foods are over. Not that I went "that" high..just higher than I wanted . luckily being non stop active at work helps to burn off the carbs.
new year..new start. have my monitor and blood ketostix. did a test test and 'may" do an actual reading today or I may wait until tomorrw to get new lancet pen and pick up my glucose stix. went for 5 pm ast night until 10 am thi morning and then had my bullet proof coffees. Had lunch at noon with 30 g/P. was not really hungry but know I need to get the protin in. I just have a feeling that around 55-60 g/P is good for me.

awoke about 6.30 for work today. feel a heartburn episode building. 6.30 am?? did have cheddar cheese about 1.5 ounces 1 hr before bed. went to bed at 10 pm. had onions and liver/bacon for dinner 5.30-6 but did not actually eat much..maybe 1 bacon 2 oz liver and 1 oz onion however it was fatty. also had some CO tsp as a "snack" and a tsp peanut butter. okay maybe yesterday was more protein/fat than usual. thought my HB was delt with but perhaps not. really watch the fat and maybe cheese is a major issue? even though I take the glutenease/enzymes. very surprised at the dealy rather than a typical 2 am episode. read about foods that trigger the phincter relaxing. onions on there.

don't feel like adding to food diary just now
meat stw/carrots and 4 oz broth x 2 today BKFT and lunch about 6 oz total beef
3/4 cup yogurt, handful frozen raspberries, 3g knox gelatin, lunchish
3 cups coffee with 10 tbsp cream, 2 tsp co today..one at 8pm because I DO get hungry in evening. other 2 for breakfast.
2 oz gouda around 6 pm with 5 Marys crackers
small handful pecans
1 cup roasted zuchinni, 2 oz brown mushroom, 4 brussel sprouts,
