Greetings All, 04/06/2014
My name is Robin and I am glad to have found this site. I am 40 years old,female,5 feet 2 inches tall, medium frame,wear a size 12 jeans, and weigh 155 pounds I am following a VLCD (very low calorie ) diet (500 calories or less a day),0 carb-very low fat-moderate protein 40 grams daily I have researched this way of eating extensively and find that for the results I desire that this is the plan I choose to do. I take many vitamins, keep very hydrated and pay close attention to how my body is reacting to this way of eating. I have been on many different plans, going from 226 pounds to 155 pounds (my current weight). However, I have found that for me, calorie restriction and a ketogenic state is the best route. I am not endorsing this way of eating for anyone else but myself! I don't intend to do this for very long (jjust until I reach goal). and intend on refeeding slowly in a very different healthy way.It has been very hard to find a web site that supports this way of eating, and that will not judge me. I find this site a lot more welcoming and I am thankful for that.
