Day 4 of the intermittent fast. Last night I was still hungry but I drank water and pretended I ate. I looked at my belly and said body, you have reserves, you're going to be OK! This morning I did more gardening but only for an hour as I had to go to work. Sore but good. :) And yeah, definitely hard labour keeps hunger away. I fasted for 16 hrs! Yay! :D But I don't think that'll be the norm but maybe! I see that I atet he house though before 1pm, but that's OK. I can have mini snacks or start fasting earlier. I think as long as my cals stay down I'll be OK.

So working off Rckc and Becca's entries from yesterday I decided my cut off time is 5pm, which is when I get off work. I went home, crashed, woke up and drank 6 glasses of water while I cooked for today's meal.
That being said, it was super easy to fast while you're sleeping and/or busy at home! :D So this AM I wasn't starving. I had my milk around 8-9a and I'm doing OK. Now once I get used to this I can push it a little further but for now, I'm pleased. Thank you guys! :D
I also took to heart the entry that said "remember, we can last 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food." and I'm sorry I forgot your name but that helped me last night as I was trying to sleep while hungry. I didn't want to drink more water because I didn't want to get up to pee so it was a little difficult but worth it! :D

Having a hard time this morning trying this fast thing. I keep thinking omg I'm starving! If I drink something it's going to get worse. But at least I only have a half hour to go before 12 hrs.... I think at that point I'll have to break this fast. It's REALLY tough to do this while at work at a desk! :(
I wish I was gardening, hard labour puts a damper on hunger that's for damn sure!

Another intermittent fast day, I ate last night probably at 10 pm? but I didn't eat today until almost 6pm and what I found out is, if I keep busy (I was working in my garden, doing heavy lifting and what have yous) I don't notice I'm hungry but if I take just ONE sip of water, bam! hunger like the dickens! Why is that?
At work, I guess because it's mundane desk work I'm hungry more but I wonder if I didn't eat before going to work could I do the whole day without eating too? But how do you "keep busy" when you're at a desk doing mundane things?
And how is this healthy? I've read 14 hrs is OK but I almost went a whole day! Am I doing it wrong?
