Been a couple weeks since I posted anything! I've been busy with work but stayed on track with fasting and eating healthy.
Finished my second 36-hour fast in two weeks this morning. Weighed in and finally unlocked my 35 lb badge from Fitbit!
I've kept a daily journal on my progress, including my highs and lows. This week, I aggregated those entries into one article at https://ralanpershing.medium.com/i-figured-out-the-key-to-losing-weight-bd6bd419a89d
My goal is to post an update at least once per month recapping the previous month.

One meal for the day! Sheet Pan Sausage and Vegetables (recipe from yummly.com), deviled eggs, broccoli, and celery with cashew butter. I still can't stand celery.
700 kcal. I'll chase it with a shake in 45 minutes and call it a day at just under 900kcal.

Weight: 293.2 lbs
Weight Change Since Last Week: -3.0 lbs
Weight Change Overall: -25.6 lbs
Highs: I got my 25-lbs Fitbit badge. 25 pounds!!! Every week is a new milestone. I've never been able to stick to a diet this long and lose this much weight. This is also the fifth week in a row I've lost 2.5 lbs or better. This week I completed two 24-hour fasts (OMADs).
I'm really starting to see definition in my arms and shoulders which is super encouraging.
Lows: Our FitBit scale is a piece of crap. Friday morning I stepped on and it said I lost 8 pounds last week. As nice as that would have been, I knew something wasn't right. So I stepped back on and it said I gained 5 pounds in 22 seconds. Several more attempts yielded similar results...from a $200 scale. Replaced it with a $20 Fitindex scale that seems to work better and yield more consistent results.

Just ended a 24-hour fast with an omelet, mashed avocado, shredded chicken, homemade salsa, sweet peppers, and strawberries. I made the salsa a little too hot!
