This has been the slowest, yet the BEST weight elimination of my life. My clothes fit so well. And the cellulite on my butt and legs has been greatly reduced!!!!. I'm very happy with my accomplishments thus far. The scale doesnt say 120 lbs, but I already feel like I am. Lifting weights, a good amount of cardio, and a clean diet will get and keep my body and mind in excellent health. Until next time... Keep working, dont give up! Persistence is key!

It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you're not.
Yesterday went really well... unitl dinner. I typically try to stay away from white breads, pasta, and potatoes. I feel that this helps me feel better physically and helps me eliminate fat. Dinner yesterday was baked ziti (white, not wheat). I felt physically ill after eating this. Yuck! But the positive side is... this proves my point. I feel much better when I'm committed to my clean diet, eating whole wheat items, and not processed white flour that is nutritionally devoid of anything substance my body can use. :) I feel better physically AND mentally when eating clean.
I haven't recorded any fat reduction yet, but my body already looks and feels different than it did on January 1st. This is my actual start date... I just didn't know about fatsecret.com at that time! lol
But, my clothes are so muc looser; I was able to fit into a size smaller jean that I wore last summer!!!! yay!!! I'm so excited. The fat on my back is less than it was 12 days ago.
Did anyone know that the approximate fat loss needed to go down a dress size is only 7 lbs???? Remember I said approximate. It could be 5 lbs for some people, 10 lbs for others. But how motivating is that?!?!? If we told ourselves, I'm going to lose one dress size by next week and knew exactly what dress or jeans we wanted to wear, then we would focus on the positive aspect of wearing those awesome jeans or dress. Then, by default, we would be so positive about our fat elimnation that we would WANT to eat clean, we would work out, because we would only see the positive outcome, and not all the negative aspects of dieting/exercising we have come to know. We would think about how the dress/jeans would feel fitting so well, and would already know how great we would feel knowing we accomplished our goal. We could think about how confident we felt, knowing we look so good!
Just something to think about! :)

Today is gonna be great!
I have not lost anything this week, so I am going to experiment a little bit.
I recalculated my RDI, and dropped it 200 cals/day, to see if that works. If it doesn't, I will try something else. :)

Happiness is the best measure of success.
I'm doing so well. I'm very excited about being a member of fatsecret.com. This is the best site I have ever found for keeping track of healthy eating and exercise. I love that we can keep track of most of our activities, even if it is housework. Taking note of how much I actually move during the day is really motivating; it makes me want to do more and more. I'm feeling very motivated, and I'm going to try to do another workout today. I'm feeling great!!
