This has been a difficult week for me after hearing that my friend died. Just trying to keep on track as much as possible. Yesterday I was totally non-compliant and didn't track. Much better today.

Since I am on weight watchers I need to start converting my food intake into their point system. I guess I will post it on my journal. Any better suggestions of how to track them?

Received news that a friend had died today. Feeling very sad.
Well some company came by and I had to move the gym visit till this Wed. I did finish packing up all the Christmas ornaments, trees and wreaths. Also did the normal housework plus all the vacuuming now that the Christmas stuff is gone. Lots of glitter on my floors. Lunch was pinto beans and a slice of wheat bread with a banana for dessert. Having a sweet craving so I am going to have a hot cup of tea with cream and sweet n low. Sweet cravings are very hard for me.
Up and feeling pretty good with the results of my first couple of days. I am taking the easy way out for breakfast this morning because I have a busy day planned. I have taken on the challenge of riding and swimming and some cardio workouts. I have a gym membership withing a six mile distance that has a wonderful salt-water heated pool which is so good for anyone with arthritis or just every day aches and pains. I like to go to the gym around ten or eleven am so that I can do water aerobics for 45 min and then have free swim time for an hour. I don't plan to do cardio exercise on the machines today. Probably will not do them everyday for the time being. Getting started is the hardest part isn't it? I have had one cup of hot tea with cream and am going to eat while I watch the morning news. Hope everyone has a great start to their day.

Well I have finished my first day back on track and am a little worn out trying to avoid any temptation. I did it, but will make my future choices more healthy than some I made today. It is taking me a little time to feel comfortable with all the areas of this web site, but I am excited to be a part of the group.
I am retired and 67 years old. I have been on weight watchers before and lost 40 lbs. I got sick and then did not adhere to my diet and gained back 20 lbs of the weight I had lost. I am ready to commit myself to weight watchers and a good exercise program again. Looking forward to the pool and work out room.
On Weight Watchers you normally weigh in on a weekly basis and I will keep to that schedule.
