male, 52 WA state. Goal is to reach 180lbs, been over 250 for several years. have worked on this several times, was up to 295 at one point. Adkins has always worked well for me, but I fall back into the carb trap as soon as I have one high carb food. kind of a carbaholic. learned what I hope is a life lesson the other day, basically no more then 45g of carbs a day, and no more then 15g of carbs at a sitting. as it was explained to me eating more then 15g of carbs at a sitting will put me over the threshold to produce insulin and then start to drive the carb craving. going to try this will see how it goes.
