Update: Finally hit my long time goal weight of 165 on Sept 23, 2019. Whew. Let the toning phase begin.

I'm 35, 5"8, and live in Bozeman, MT. I started losing weight in Feb 2008 at an all time high of 290. I lost 100 lbs over 5 years and then plateaued from 188-196 up until a few months ago as I've gradually managed to get down to about 178. Feels nearly as much of a triumph as the 100! I've used calorie counters off and on for these past 11 years and have many times felt really worn down by the tedious and often obsessive act of it. But I feel like I've gained some new insight this year into my actual calorie needs(less than suggested), how many calories I burn during exercise(also less), and combatting my desire to eat when bored(intuitive eating, forcing myself to drink water first) and am willing to give it another shot. Mostly I feel like having a community to bounce some of my thoughts off would be really helpful.
Also, sweets are my number one weakness! And it doesn’t help that there is candy all over the place at work.
