I'm a 21 year old full time college student finally committing to my health. I hope to be a surgeon someday, so I figure it's about time. In the passed 3 years or so I grew out of my nice effortless adolescent skinny (120lbs) but continued to eat like garbage and not regularly exercise. The past few months I've been working on making some changes. I have depression & anxiety, and have been working on creating a sustainable routine to better take care of my mind and body, starting with a good night routine. Now that I feel confident in building and maintaining a habit, I'm taking the leap to weight loss.

I'm starting here with a goal of losing 10lbs, and my hope is to eventually get down 25lbs total. With that I'm also going to be working towards (with the help of my boyfriend) integrating yoga into my routine, starting at 2x a week. And then, this summer is the big one; quitting smoking. Overall, the goal is to have a well rounded and healthy lifestyle where I can still indulge (I'm still prone to enjoying junk food and the occasional night of drinking).

I downloaded the fat secret app and I think this is the coolest thing. I look forward to going on this journey with all of you :)
