Currently prepping to start training for my next competition women's body building toned physique. This will require me to control food intake that requires me to eat specific amounts of protein and fats daily. Carbohydrates will be cycled over a 4 day period. Completing heavy weight training regimes along with high intensity cardio sessions over a 6 day period. I love working out and love a challenge. I'm a mum to three grown up sons and now a grandma. I used to be a couch potato and the only exercise was walking to my car. I wanted to set an example to my children that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and take action. Two of my sons were born with physical disabilities and they have overcome so many personal challenges themselves. My parents passed away when I was a child and not only did I want to be a good role model to my boys thought I should practice what preached to them and most importantly be healthy to live long enough to be around for them when they were starting their families, getting married and graduating. So going from a person who smoked to over eating and no exercise to a non smoker, athlete who had self discipline in the kitchen I am proud of my achievements. Since making these life changes my sons all exercise, do not smoke and can cook healthy nutritional foods.
