Lets start from the beginning. I was stick thin growing up but in my late teens due to some personal crises I started putting on weight. At my highest I weight 197 lbs (i'm 5'7"). I did lose the weight around my 24 birthday but then I took it too far and at my lowest I weighed 92 lbs. urghh! Starvation just gave me more control of my out of control life.
Anyways after a health crisis I decided to not be suicidal anymore and started putting the weight back on. I started bingeing uncontrollably and ended up at 185 lbs. A couple of years later i naturally lost 20 lbs but just not bingeing and not thinking about food all the time. Kept myself busy - that sort of thing.
Now i'm going to give weight loss another go but hopefully with a healthier mindset. Do not want to end up in a hospital at 4 am this time. And well atkins is going really well for me, i've lost 5 lbs and I look healthy - pink cheeks and all. I have loads of energy and best of all I feel full and I do not crave food all the time.
Lets hope I can stick with this and make this work for me as a lifestyle. I want to be as close to my GW of 121 lbs for my 30th birthday as possible. I turn 30 on July 12. Can't wait to fit back into some of my old clothes (really expensive clothes). :)
