I'm 45 and starting to notice that if I don't watch it, I can put on a bit of weight pretty easily and also how hard it is to lose it afterwards. I gained about 12 pounds during the past year due to stress and a crazy work schedule during an internship. Now I have the luxury of working decent hours but I am struggling with returning to the good habits of being more physically active and making better food choices. I think age is a factor too, I used to lose weight very easily during my twenties and thirties and I have realized that my metabolism has changed. I don't believe in diets or in eliminating food groups, I believe in moderation and in portion control.
