I think I'm going back to the 90's version of atkins. I seem to lose more weight on that version that the "new" version. Still have to decide but cutting out most sugar alcohol is needed. I am not losing weight as quickly as I used to but some of that is an age factor probably. No harm in trying though to see if there is a difference. Maybe I'll use the s.a. as a treat instead of using everyday like in my coffee.

I switched to the '72 version about a week ago and I'm going to see how that goes for me. I've had a hard time switching over to fat burning and with the '72 version, I finally have gone into full ketosis. I lost a pound right away, but now I'm stuck again. However, I'm losing inches - so that's good. I'll be very interested to see how you do on the 90's version. I may use that as my model for adding more carbs into my diet (now that I'm at essentially zero most days.) Anyway - good luck and nice to meet you!

The 90's and the 70's version are very similar. They changed a few thing but nothing as major as the newest one. Great to meet you too!

Oops, should have said 80's version. I have the old book but it's falling apart. I just ordered another copy off of amazon. I should have it Wednesday.

Sounds like we're using the same book. Yesterday someone actually laughed at me (lol'd) and told me to up my veggies - that Atkins is LOW carb not NO carb. She didn't understand I'm using Dr. Atkins book-not NANY.
