Thought I'd make a longer journal entry since I've been on this site for between 15 days to a month now.
I started using this website when I weighed 132 pounds (about 9.5 stones). I'm 5 feet 4.5 inches tall (64.5 cm). That made my BMI a 22.3 kilograms per square meter. Now, I'm still the same height, but I'm 122.2 pounds (around 8.7 stone) and my BMI is 20.6 kilograms per square meter. I lost 9.8 pounds between half a month to a full month! I'm thrilled!
My appearance with this weight loss hasn't changed all that much, but I have found that some jeans that used to be a little tight around the middle of my thighs have loosened up to be a little more comfortable, which is wonderful for me and now I can wear those items more often. I've also been more confident while having to dress down for P.E. class, as I'm more resembling some of the other girls instead of being that chunky girl in the corner.
There hasn't been much of a diet that I've followed over this time, I've just been slowly reducing my calorie and carb intake but not very strongly following a restrictive or ketogenic diet. My RDI is 1500 calories, and I typically average between 1000-1800 calories a day, which is perfectly okay with me. I do plan on slowly reducing that to around 800-1300 calories, but for now I'm content with what I have.
I'm very glad that being able to track my intakes and receive support from people on this website has helped me lower my weight so much over this short period of time, and I'm hopeful that this will continue!
