**ADVICE PLEASE*** I'm going camping for 5 days next month and I'm a little stressed about what I can eat. I have got a gas plate so will have a pot and pan. Any suggestions on yummy healthy food I can eat while there that won't spoil?

I take tins and dry ingredients because it won't go off.
Breakfasts fruit and/or oats are easy to prep. Or I fry up some mushrooms and toast bread on the pan.
If you or your Friends have a grid or potjie a good potjie is nice for the first night just take a potjie, spices and whatever potjie mix u like.
I make one pot wonders for meals,for example I prep a lunch tin with red lentils,spices and brown rice. All you need to do is add water and boil on the gas. You can always add potato.
Butternut soup is easy for camping because the butternut squash doesn't go off. Just be sure to bring a knife. I add some cumin,masala, lemon juice ,cinnamon and fresh coriander once it's done. Sometimes coconut milk and potatoes or lentils too. I generally blend it after but a masher works too.

Also tinned chick peas or veg any tin foods really. I make it with rice. Stir fry is good if you make it on the first or second night and store food in a cooler box. Peanut butter is a good one to bring and I have those on rice or corn cakes. Dried fruit and nuts is great too. I take a cheap gas kettle and make tea or coffee. Lots of water. But I am mostly aware of taking food that doesn't go off quickly.
