6:30 P. M. About an hour ago I ate a cannoli, had a nice black coffee and still am some 200 calories in deficit. I feel good about this. At the same time, I'm at an event that just brought in hot, fresh, great smelling pizza. A woman walked past me with a slice. It. Looked. Good. My belly feels good. I feel no hunger. Yet, conviviality, breaking bread with and as part of a group is something with which I am very familiar. I still know how to eat even though I don't feel hungry. We finish here at 8:30. When I leave, have gotten on the train home, arrived home and am in bed *THEN* I'll feel accomplished. I'll write again before I go to bed.
