I can't seem to drink my 8 glasses of water a day. I'm not much of a drinker in general. How does everyone make chugging their water down everyday enjoyable? Or at least to where it isn't a chore?

I have to have very pure and very cold water usually. No added minerals or such. You might try a slice of lemon.

I don't believe that everyone needs 8 glasses of water a day. Are you dehydrated. Are you dizzy. Do you need to pee as soon as you wake up in the morning. Are you flushing out excess sodium. If you are not having adverse symptoms you're getting enough water. I often need more than 8 glasses, especially when I exercise but everybody does not have the same requirements.

Military for 20+ years. If you pee clear you're good. the yellower it gets the more you need to drink.

Thanks for the input everyone! I probably do need to drink more than I do, but I don't think I'll ever get to the 8 glasses.

I’m with m2bc. I was forcing myself to drink more than my body wanted because I thought it was healthy. All it was doing was getting me up to pee at night.

Try adding fresh fruit or cucumber, mint is great also. I squeeze half a lemon in my water. 😊

I don't think of it as '8 glasses' a day. I buy 2 (1 liter) bottles of water, and drink them throughout the day. It seems like a lot less when you only have '2' to drink and not '8'. 💧

The only way I can do it is by filling up a gallon jug and leaving it on the counter. I have a large 32 oz cup I fill with ice, every time I have a meal I fill it up and drink it down. When I work out at night I have another one.

Slice up a lemon and keeping your water refilled with the slices all day! Shelia is right- cucumber then Mint is good to add for digestion, it works! Also a splash of diet ocean spray cranberry juice- or a mix of it all. Making more iced herbal teas are healing and helpful for water intake, unless you’re a hot tea person, then go for that 🤓

For me, I hate tepid water. Once it hits room temp, I’m over it. My mom bought me a really well insulated water bottle (from Aladdin) and it keeps my ice frozen ALL DAY even if I refill it a few times! I still don’t get enough, but having icy cold water helps.

I just do it. I need the water it makes me feel full and helps to flush things out and helps my skin. So water and I are bffs. I even drink it room temp or sometimes I just run plain water through the Keurig and have me a hot water lol. I’m home all day so it’s easy. If I were on the go I’d pack at least three of those big bottles and just drink them.

i have pint glass of water with a squirt of lemon juice ( from bottle). keep it with you and it will soon disappear. dont bother with smaller glasses as it too much hassle to refill.

make infused water with fresh fruits. i also bring 2 lit of water at work and i never leave the office until i finish it (i once stayed til 5pm just to drink it, lol punishment works)
