@lightskin, immediately after surgery it is vital that you follow your Dr's orders. Whatever they may be, every Dr varies in post surgery rules! When your pouch is ready for food (it won't be for a while) take VERY small bites. Find a protein shake that you can tolerate and take in at least 80gms of protein daily. Exercise as soon as you can and hydrate... all day. Sip, sip, sip!! All day... then drink some more!!
