Back from the craziness and finally our weekend away. It was good to get away, just not long enough. Now that we are home we are harvesting fruit off of vines and tress as fast as we can, hoping to beat out the bear. Last night we did blackberries and our Santa Rosa plums. We have so many blackberries that I took a bowl and have them soaking in vinegar to make blackberry vinaigrette for gifts. I know it's August but the holidays are a coming.
