Trying an experiment before I leave for vacation. I am doing the 6 Day Shred from P90. It is not sustainable as a lifestyle - nor is it meant to be - it is supposed to be a "jumpstart" to a healthier way of eating. The caloric intake is very low, which is why you lose weight, and I have no idea what will happen after the 6 days. I feel like I can learn to make better choices though, since I am not struggling. I am eating every 3 hours (like another plan to keep your metabolism up), and I have added exercise back into my day. I also upped my water intake. The first day is about 1200 calories, then 1000 for 2 days, and 800 for 3. I will try to check in daily. I started at 162 on Monday, and woke up to 160 today. I can guarantee it was not water loss, as I drank 96 oz. Did the treadmill for a half hour yesterday and today with a few sets of chest exercises yesterday, and back/lat today.
