3.1 miles walked with doggies via the lake route. Cooler today, but I stopped after 1 loop to change into shorts even though it was just over 60 degrees.
Our microwave has (re-)started acting up. It needs a new control panel, probably, which is about as expensive as the microwave itself. We've been hoping to not have to replace the unit, but today, for no reason, the fan came on and then the shrill "error" beeping. The only way to stop it is to unplug it. Over-range microwaves aren't all too terribly expensive, compared to a 'frig or a stove, but this one is "bisque" to match all the other appliances, so we have to find a color matched one which probably won't be on sale. The color was chosen by the prior owner and it's nice, but I'd have never chosen it, due to the difficulty of switching out appliances, if you do it 1 at a time. White, black, and even stainless are easier to swap out.
I hope to get the last of the Christmas decorations boxed up and put into storage today, as well as getting a Valentine's Day box of small gifts sent out to my mother.
DH has a follow-up eye appointment this afternoon and so we'll see (no pun!) how he's doing. It would be nice if he could sleep in any position now, as well as getting rid of the 10# weight-lifting restriction.
