~Loving your A$$ets~
"You really are lookin' skinny" mama says. I LOVE THAT WOMAN! I don't always see what she see's, but maybe that's in part what mama's are for; to see the potential in their children (young or old) that we can't always see in ourselves.

She went on to compliment my a$$ and let me know it's really shaping up. I laughed and said,

"Ya know I was checkin' my own a$$ out in the building windows while trekkin to the bus stop. I have to say, I think I'd grab my own a$$!" LOL

I have tweaked my calories a bit this week and took out the protein shakes with the caveat that if I feel weak or tired after a work out, I'll drink one. The whey shakes will still come in handy once the backyard pool opens Mid May and I find myself burning 900 - 1000 calories when fitting in both a half mile in the water in addition to the normal exercise routine as I'll definitely need to compensate for calories on those days. That won't be happening everyday, but since we have such short spring and summers here, I try to make the most of the pool when it's open, weather permitting of course.

In the meantime, I've also been incorporating meditation back into my ritual. As a practicing Buddhist, meditation is no stranger to me, but it feels essential to enter that tranquil and empty space within, so I can remain open to this transformation. And, as one of our Dear Buddhist ministers at temple always says, "meditation helps get rid of that monkey mind!" lol
