Down one pound, which is really good news given that I was travelling this weekend and didn't get as much exercise as I am used to and didn't follow the diet quite as closely as I should. I did pretty well on following the diet, but did allow myself to have two drinks (cosmopolitans... yummy!) one night and had a bit more carb than I should have.

I think my weight lifting has helped my weight loss be relatively consistent. I am validated by being able to fit into some of my older clothes (and having my "normal" clothes be too big now) and by feeling stronger and more fit overall. I still have a long way to go to my goal, but am happy to see the fruits of my labor so far.

You are doing great! Don't you just love when your regular clothes become "Fat" clothes? keep it up.

that's funny, victorialynn. I'm just now starting to think of my old clothes and body as "normal" (which I need to get back to) and my recent clothes as "fat" rather than thinking of my recent body/clothes as "normal." It's a small mental shift, but seems meaningful.
