I've been traveling for about a month. During those weeks I watched everything I ate or didn't eat. (No Bread, potatoes, pasta or rice). We had a wonderful vacation. We spent time with family. Maneuvering around other people and their eating habits isn't always easy. So now I have to focus to get rid of the extra pounds.
I've missed being on site regularly. i need the support. While we were away a pipe burst in the rooms over our garage. Water poured for at least 5 days. The whole garage interior is considered a loss by the insurance folks. We had put a small bathroom in the garage about a year ago. Water seeped into the walls and flooring and ceilings. Oh brother, what a mess. Toilet is okay...yeah! 😜 The disaster people came in yesterday to rip out all the carpeting and pads. They set up fans and humidifiers to dry out all the wood structure. Hoping that we don't get mold or mildew.
I'm not sure if God is cursing my husband for his hoarding habits, or blessing me with opportunity to purge all this junk.
Ah well, glad to be eating clean again. Can't wait for an avocado or two. Warren, Warren 😎

I'm very supportive...both of the impact of flood and travel vs. diet. I have been down that disaster cleaning route in my basement in the past couple years. I wish I could really say it had a major impact on hanging on to stuff. Some impact. But not enough! I just went through a month+ of birthday celebration, and I am thrilled to find that I gained only 1.5 pounds. This is very encouraging because it means we are both learning how to put the breaks on enough not to really fall off the wagon. Glad you are back.
