Went to step on the scale today, since I didn't like what it said on Monday, and it spit out complete gibberish. I'm hoping that means I didn't actually gain 3 pounds, but that my scale was just desperately trying to get my attention before it succumbed to whatever ailed it.

Anyway, I don't really feel like going and getting a different one just yet. Maybe this weekend? Maybe next month? I think the number has just been too discouraging, to be working my butt off in the gym 6 days a week and restricting calories only to see such minor losses. I know my clothes fit better. I know my stomach looks flatter. So I think I'm going to wait few more weeks before weighing in and just focus on how I'm feeling.

Hey, consistency is key Toumina. Keep at it! You're doing great. Sometimes when you start a rigorous exercise program there is in a sense micro-injury and tendency of your body to hold onto body water. You got this! And in time the scale will reflect this! There is just a lot going on in the body when placed under stress (exercise + caloric deficit), and although you may be loosing body fat, it may not necessarily reflect this on the scale immediately! But continue to drink water, forget the scale for a couple of weeks, think about how fantastic you are feeling!

Don't go by the scale on a daily or even weekly basis. Muscle, fat, and water fluctuate tremendously. Im guilty of weighing myself everyday too; however, I always tell myself, that's not the "real" number....the real number would be on a monthly basis and how ur clothes are fitting. U can gain muscle, show a weight gain, but go down a pant size. Log ur weight only once a month.

Its how those clothes are fitting that tell the true story!!!! Hang in there!!!! I saw nothing change on the scale for weeks and weeks, but the clothing fit changed and then suddenly it just plummeted down. Keep the faith...it's working!!!!

You might think about keeping track of your measurements to check your progress. Even if the scale number is not to your liking, the fact that your clothes fit better suggests that good things are happening.
