At the end of a long day..........such as yesterday..........I come home from work and fight all the urges to eat what I want........the foods that tempt me by promising feelings of contentment until after they are consumed and reek havoc on my body.........still call out to me. I won the battle yesterday and I felt proud this morning when I got out of bed....weighed in and found I had lost a pound!!! Honestly, a small part of me thought to myself that with all the mental battle I had so vigorously fought there should have been at least a 20 pound weight loss.........so, as I watch Paula Deen cook wonderful fattening food, I am determined to conquer another day!
