Boot weigh in #1. Wow, took my friends (Thanks King!) advice and weighed in with my boot, which is heavy, and guess what... I still lost weight! I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, I'll take it. Of course I wonder if weighing in 1 legged is accurate, are my muscles disappearing, but I digress.... I am having wife weigh in with 1 leg later today to check it out...

Yesterdays Mantra of think positive went ok. Had a bit of a problem in the morning with my breakfast. God bless my wife and family for they have to take care of me. Anyway, yesterday morning my wife proceeded on her merry way with her routine (paper, internet, opening all the drapes, etc), meanwhile I was hungry! I got up at 7, and did not get my breakfast until about 930. So, me and the wife talked about it later, after I had my hissy fit. All is well in the household now. I actually made my own breakfast today. I hop around the kitchen and sit down when making my toast. It was not that tough actually, and will get me ready for work.

Went outside and walked (hopped on crutches) around the compound for a bit with my wife. It was nice to get outside and get some air. It also wore me out. Played video games all day, got bored, and took a nap. Noticing my calories are low all week, and my protein is high. My appetite is low too, all good things considering.

Last week we got some good news in regards to our "life" and that is my company will pay for my son Zach to go to a normal school here, rather than being home-schooled. Great news! He is happy, we are happy, etc. Unfortunately I have to pay first then get reimbursed, puts us in a bit of a money crunch for a few weeks, but hey what can you do. It's causing me lost sleep and lots of worry, but in the long run I think it will be ok.

Also found out my Mother in-law has signs of cancer last night, not good news indeed. She used to live with us prior to moving out here. She is a saint, eats healthy, goes to church. Fate is a pain in the ass, and bad things happen to good people. Lets say a prayer for Winny today and hope for the best.

I am so grateful for this place to journal, sorry for dumping here. I am here for you if you need me! lol.

I am grateful for my wife and kids this week. All have been very helpful. Its stressful for me, and for them. All our routines are off kilter, and its nerve wracking having dad around the house and not being able to take care of things.
