On the road again.....3.1 miles today in beautiful weather, doggies along for differing amounts, as usual.
I decided to just go for it and groom them yesterday, even though it does involve a certain amount of bending over, even on a grooming table. Collie boy needed it badly and both dogs were stressing over an overdue mani/pedi - LOL!
Thrift shop was really busy today, so the time went fast. Then, I mowed the lawn after my dinner salad so I can put up our big Halloween inflatable. I had thought to get it out tonight so DH would see it when he drives home, but it just got too dark. I'll get it out tomorrow. Love that decoration - over 7' tall!!
I realized that mowing might not be the best for my back, but I just can't keep babying it - it's driving me nuts (no pun intended) to do so. I'll just get the heating pad on it while watching Survivor tonight.
So far, so good on resisting the siren call from the peanuts! The night's not over, but my worst time has gone by.

Sandy you reminded me of the first time my husband tried to cut our
poodles hair..she was pitching a fit the whole time..we were in the floor and by the time we were finished she was a very scraggly looking
thing..we laughed so hard and had to take her to get a real hair cut..
the groomer had a field day with it..thats the last time we ever cut her hair...LOL...Congrats for reisting the nuts..and enjoy Survivor..I love that show...Have a great evening...☺

Bren, I'm actually very lucky that both dogs, but esp. my Collie, are so good for their grooming. My Collie guy needs some thinning and trimming of his hair in certain places that I don't always get just right. But, he forgives me! Can't wait to see who's "asking" to be sent to Redemption Island.
