I don't want to admit this...since I hate admitting weakness...but I have been super depressed this last week. After my work trip- my sleeping has been all messed up and has also messed up my eating. Then I come home to a sick BF then I get sick.

On top of being sick it has made me so tired. No matter how much I sleep I feel tired. I guess thats the bad part of being sick. But because of being sick and tired my head hurts and I cannot breath much through my nose. This has caused me to avoid working out like I usually do. Instead I have been walking a lot. Walking the dogs- walking at the mall. I know its better than sitting around but the not working out has been getting me depressed. Then I start thinking I am fat and ugly and blah blah blah =( I feel like poo and I feel like I look like poo

Welcome to a girls mind. I guess I sound crazy but being sick really messes up with EVERYTHING from diet, to working out to sleep. =( I plan to not skip my workout with my trainer on friday. Which I lift heavy on those days since he can spot me. But since I want to focus on getting better I guess its best to just eat really clean and walk while I am getting over this cold. I rather heal fast than extend my cold because I want to workout hard. Urghhhhhhhh I hate ruts.

I think it's amazing how fast everything can sliiiide down hill. Put the brakes on and do what you can. If that means only one thing, let it be clean eating. Let your body recover and hopefully hit the workout with the trainer on Friday. Take this as a much needed "stop and smell the roses" time, rejuvenate so you're better than ever!

Do not put on make up and just dress like a bum while you are sick. then when you feel way better. dress up slap on some make up and do the hair. I bet you will feel like a princess. :o)

I actually dressed up at work today despite feeling kind of crappy. I actually feel a little better by just dressing pretty. :) Just sad that I am not on my normal routine thats all

Hope you feel better soon - I had something back in March that was relatively mild with the flu symptoms but I also experienced being so very tired and low. I think it's just part of that virus - hang in there, it will pass!

Take the rest and recover - do what you can and believe you will just come back. I am having sinus surgery and will miss one whole week at the gym, too.

thanks everyone. @HCB- oh wow goodluck and have a speedy recovery! Not going to the gym is makign me a crazy person but atleast I am walking the dogs every day. Are you able to atleast take walks?
