Sometime during this last week, I tweaked my back...probably some sort of muscle strain on my left side. This morning, as I was bending over and twisting to do something, I felt a decided step-up in pain there.
As long as I'm absolutely upright, it's just an uncomfortable twinge. Anything else gives me a stronger pain on that side. Oh well....I hobbled the dogs around this AM for 3.1 miles anyway; 1 doggy all the way and the other for 2.3 miles. It was probably a slower pace, but I left the exercise log as if it were my normal speed.
The rest of the day looks like rest for me with some heat put on the area. Tomorrow would be my normal day off from walking so by Monday, hopefully, I should be in better shape. Will have to work some nice, easy stretches in.....maybe after the heat has relaxed those muscles a bit.

Sandy, take good care of yourself, back-pain can really be bothersome. I have aulternated heat and cold in the past, it might help you too. God bless you, get better soon :)

OOOOH I hate back pain...walking is a good exercise for that but if it hurts while doing so you need to give it a rest..I agree with Gigi to
put heat and then cold on it...every 20 mins.. is what my doctor told
me...I am so lucky I don't have as much pain as I did before surgery many moons ago...Take care of yourself my dear....

Thanks GiGi and Bren. It's a bit better today but still not where I feel like I should be to do most everything. More TLC for me, I guess.

Sandy take it easy with your back, heat will help, and rest also. WAlking is good, but not if it hurts too bad. Enjoy the rest of your day.
