What a difference a day makes! A weather front brought fall to us in a big way! It was in the 50's (!!!!) when I went out this AM!! Walked 2.3 miles with 2 doggies and then finished the full 3.1 miles with just 1 dog along. They LOVE this cooler weather and are all prancy and bouncy.
Of course, it's warming nicely now and will probably reach 80 degrees, but the air is a whole lot drier out there, so it's truly very, very nice and comfortable. I may not do the pool maintenance today, but will be mowing the lawn and, perhaps, doing some of the never-ending weeding in the landscape beds. No sense in putting down any new mulch right now, though, as we get a TON of leaves falling over these next few months. I'd end up raking up all the mulch when I pick up the leaves.
I've been extra hungry these last few days (the days w/o the peanuts). I'm also weighing a bit heavier during the day than a reasonable daily variation for me, so that's something I'm monitoring closely - don't want to get stuck.
